Leading insurer HDFC Life on Thursday reported 14% growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 412 crore for the quarter ended March 2024. It was Rs 362 crore in the year-ago period.
The net premium income for the same period increased 5% to Rs 20,534 crore against Rs 19,469 crore in the last year period.
The company\’s board has also recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per share for the financial year 2023-24, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing AGM.
The record date for finding out the entitlement of the shareholders to the final dividend is fixed as June 21 and the payment for the same will be made on or after July 20.
